Woven mesh is manufactured by weaving longitudinal and transverse wires together and can run from coarse fabrics to exceptionally fine fabrics and all points in between.\u00a0 Woven mesh is normally specified by \u201cmesh count\u201d \u2013 this number represents the number of apertures in an inch of travel in one direction of the fabric.\u00a0 So \u201c10 mesh\u201d for instance will have 10 holes per inch of travel in the fabric or 100 holes per square inch.\u00a0 Woven mesh is manufactured without welding so the woven fabric tends to be flexible and able to be manipulated readily for curves for use in architectural applications and the like.<\/p>

A range of woven mesh predominantly manufactured in stainless steel and predominantly in 1,220 mm wide rolls is carried ex stock and Wire Mesh Industries works with some of the biggest mills in the world to supply a broader range of woven mesh in materials such as monels, hastelloys, galvanised wire and more as well as specialist woven mesh configurations and styles.<\/p>

Typical woven mesh applications include general filtration, filtration and separation supports, sifting and sieving, food manufacture and preparation, architectural and construction elements, fencing and balustrading, security doors and more.<\/p>

Welded mesh is imported in panel and in roll form predominantly in stainless steel using our contacts built up through more than 50 years in the industry.\u00a0 \u00a0The welded mesh rolls are typically more rigid than their woven mesh counterparts as the longitudinal and transverse wires are welded together at each intersection and again the rolls are supplied mostly in stainless steel and mostly in 1,220 mm wide runs.\u00a0 Typical uses for the welded mesh in rolls include vermin proofing, intruder prevention, ventilation safety covers and more.<\/p>

Welded mesh panels are imported and supplied in stainless steel, galvanized and other materials for use in industries such as the food, chemical, agricultural, mining and refining, water treatment, security, fencing and petrochemical industries.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
